1. What are your rates?

Basic costings are outlined in the Service / Price page of our site. If you have a further specific requirement an individual cost can be provided.

2. Is a deposit required? and how much? 

Yes we do take a deposit of £50.00, but this is deductable from you final bill.

3. What if we don't know what look we want on our special day? 

We encourage you to bring as many hair and makeup ideas taken from magazines showing the kind of look you like to as this enables me to create your own chosen style. However, don’t worry if you don’t have any,  we can look through the Diamond Brides portfolio and use further resources to try up to four different looks until you are really happy.

4. What area do you cover? 

Diamond Brides are based in Portsmouth and cover the surrounding areas of Hampshire and West Sussex although within a 20 mile radius. Distances over 20 miles will be charged at 75p per extra mile.

5. Do you come to my house for the trial and on the day? 

Yes.  If you live within 20 miles it is free of charge but anything over this is charged at the rate shown above in Q4.

6. How soon before the wedding should I book a trial? 

Diamond Brides has a high volume of enquiries so it is wise to book at least 3 months in advance to avoid disappointment.

7. Which cosmetics do you use? 

We use a wide selection of makeup including M.A.C, Wella and Estee Lauder.  If you have experienced problems with any of the above or have sensitive skin please let us know when you first contact us.

8. What if you are ill on my wedding day? 

In the unlikely event that Diamond Brides are unable to attend your wedding due to illness, we have a selection of other hair / make-up artists we would contact. Every endeavour would be made to find someone to visit you. However, if this is not possible, you will receive a full refund.

9. Do you do more than one wedding a day? 

Diamond Brides only commit to one wedding per day. We may get booked up really quickly for popular dates, so make sure you don't miss out, check our availability early and organise your trial.

10. Where do you do the trials? 

The Diamond Brides studio is located at the home of Eileen Hopeakoski in Portsmouth. If you prefer, Diamond Brides will travel to your home.
